Voter Registration
You can register if you are:
- A US Citizen (you can vote if you were convicted
of a felony if you have complied with all
requirements of your probation)
- 17 years 10 months old (cannot vote until your
18th birthday)
Places to get Voter Registration Cards
- Any public library (libraries are required by
law to have Voter Registration Cards)
- Most post offices
- Your county elections administrator (which may
be the county tax assessor/collector, county clerk’s
office, and/or the voter registrar)

Complete all information on the card and mail. You
should receive your voter registration card within six
weeks. If you do not receive your card, call your local
voter registration office (county tax
assessor/collector, county clerk’s office, and/or the
voter registrar) and complete and mail another voter
registration card.
All registered Travis County voters can vote early on
campus.

instructions on how to request a ballot by mail, can be
found on the
